Persian Gulf Port is located in Shahid Rajaiee Economic Special Zone and east of Shahid Rajaiee Port, which is the main Iranian hub port. It is planned as an exporting and transiting zone for oil, mineral and general materials.

Key factors:

• Minimum number of 13 jetties up to 20,000 DWT capacity by the year 2021

• Onshore area equal to 320 hectare approximately

• Bringing average and small refinery industries to the region

• Development of bunkering market

• Development of oil, mineral and general materials to a quantity of 9.4 million ton per year by the year 2021

PGC studying role in this project include several aspects: from market studies, strategic planning and demand forecast in 5, 10 and 15 years’ phases, to providing master plan, basic engineering of onshore infrastructures, environmental studies and executive planning of port projects.

Furthermore, PGC on behalf of the client and as the main consultant of the port, has been coordinating all the investors’ activities. The majority of the investors are in oil field and their exporting materials include oil products such as fuel oil, bitumen, gasoil, etc.
